Test Automation Engineer (C++)

Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in embedded and application software for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world. 

You would be a part of the team in Platform Unit within the Medical Division. The Platform Unit develops and maintains core solutions which are used by different products like lung ventilation devices, anesthesia devices, incubators and etc. To ensure the stability and the quality of core solutions within the Platform Unit, Test Automation Engineers support automated tests frameworks development and maintenance. 

It would involve developing and executing automated tests, analyzing test results, detecting issues, and tracking root causes. In addition to that you might need to document assessments, technical issues, and solutions, to review requirement, etc. 

For this position, we are looking for Test Automation Engineer that would have such responsibilities as: 

• Design and implement maintainable test automation architectures using established test design methods.  
• Develop automated tests. 
• Conduct automated software tests utilizing relevant test documentation.  
• Support software development in analyzing test results.  
• Review and assist in improving system design and test documentation from a testing perspective.  
• Measure the quality of systems and software products and assist in improving product code.  
• Provide support and advice to development teams.
   

Your Qualifications:  

• You have several years of professional experience as an ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent, ideally in a regulatory environment.  
• Several years of professional experience in C++ programming.  
• Advantageous to have experience in software development for embedded and real-time applications.  
• Proficiency with common build systems (CMake) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins).  
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Google Test or CppUnit.  
• Proficient with Git.  
• Good command of English.  
• You are a team player with an open and communicative nature and an independent and conscientious working style.
